Add Strokes to Text in Photoshop

Strokes are bold outlines which can be applied for any layer in Adobe Photoshop CS5. This is EASY.

Steps

  1. Insert the text.
    • Make sure it's not bold.
  2. Right click on the text layer.
  3. Click on "Blending Options".
  4. At the left of the blending window, you will find some options including "Stroke"; Click on it.
  5. Configure the stroke options.
    • Like width, color, spread, etc.
  6. Hit "Ok".



Tips

  • This guide is applied for Adobe Photoshop CS5.

Warnings

  • Do not make the stroke width too much big.
