Access Games on Your TI 83+ Calculator

Have you ever been bored at home or school? Well now you can fix that! just follow these steps and you'll have hours of fun!

P.S. You have to have games on your calculator first. If you don't know if you do...do this anyway to find out!

Steps

  1. First download games and transfer them from the computer to the Calc. See the guide Titled "Download Ti-83 Plus Programs from the Internet" for more info.
  2. Once you turn on your calculator press apps.
  3. Use the arrow keys to go to MirageOS or Doors CS or Ion or whatever version of TI-Shell you have.
  4. And there are your games! You have to use 2nd to select a folder or program.

Tips

  • If you have a newer TI-84 you already have a game built in. It's called PuzzPack and it is in the APP' s menu.
  • Even if you have a Shell you still might not have games.
  • To exit, press Clear or Mode or DEL. One of those should work, since different Shells have different buttons
  • If you don't have Doors CS or one of the other shells mentioned earlier, you probably want to get one. If you have BASIC games on your calculator only, you can use the Program menu accessed by pressing PRGM

Warnings

  • You probably shouldn't play games when your teacher is talking or during tests or class work. Only in your free time!

  • A suitable Shell such as Doors Cs or MirageOS
