Add a New Bot in Counter Strike
This article will teach about adding new bots to your game in Counter Strike. This works on any Counter Strike version.
Steps
- Close any running instances of Counter Strike before proceeding.
- Open the Counter-Strike game directory (For example "C:\Program Files\Counter-Strike Source") and open the folder "cstrike".
- Find the file named "BotProfile.db" and double-click it.
- On the resulting unknown file type dialog select. "Open with..." and choose Notepad from the list.
- Add new bots by adding the skill, weapon preferences, skin, etc. For example: Elite+Sniper Stone / Skin = 3 / VoicePitch = 105 / END
- Save the file.
Tips
- This method also works for changing the names of existing bots in the game.
