Apply Eye Makeup on a Creaseless Eye

Asians usually have a creaseless almond-shaped eye. The skin is smooth and even. Applying eye makeup not only enhances the eyes, but they create a smooth, glamorous appearance.

Steps

  1. Curl your eyelashes and put on the mascara. An eyelash comb is a very useful tool. Do this first to keep other makeup from smudging or getting on your curler, and to stop your lashes breaking. Wet lashes break more easily.
  2. Put on eyeliner along your lower lash line.
  3. If applying liquid eyeliner, start on the inside corner of your upper eyelid and close your eye. When you're halfway across, open your eye and see how it looks. If you need to, close your eye again and keep drawing so that it shows when your eye is open. If you're drawing a tail, draw it with your eyes open.
  4. Apply eyeshadow to your upper lid. If you're using more than one color, use the darkest closest to your lash line and the lightest closer to your brow bone. Blend the darkest or dark color up to the top of your eyeball to define it.

Tips

  • Some people like to use fake eyelashes, though they take a lot of effort. If you do use them, use a full set on each eye - individual lashes take way too long to put on. If you go to a salon, don't get eyelashes where they interweave fake ones with your real ones, and you don't have to take them off. It looks all right the first couple of days, then it just droops and looks unnatural.
  • If you have trouble with the eyelash comb - especially if you have wispy eyelashes - try holding a Q-tip stick horizontally just above the lashes while you use it. You'll have more control, and it will help keep you from getting mascara all over your eyelid.
