Apply Pressed Powder Foundation Makeup

Is your way of applying powder not really making your skin look flawless?Are you jealous of the models on adverts for pressed powder with flawless, smooth, porcelain like skin? Well then this is the article for you!

Steps

  1. Apply moisturizer. People with dry skin  must do this step, but those who have oily skin can skip this step or apply a light moisturizer that give you a matte finish. You may also use your liquid sunscreen as moisturizer.
  2. Apply primer. It's an optional step, but helps to make makeup long lasting.
  3. Take a flat top buffer brush and take some powder.
  4. Tap off the excess.
  5. Dab on your face first and then blend it in circular motion.

Tips

  • You can use sponge also to get more coverage, but it's unhygienic.
  • To avoid cakey look, start with small amount and be light handed. Apply another layer for more coverage.
  • Use damp brush to have nice smooth finish and avoid powdery look.

Warnings

  • DON'T take a lot of product on the applicator, it will make foundation cakey.
