  1. Keep equipment clean. Be precise. When cleaning equipment in the lab you really need to be precise as it will heavily affect the quality of your work from being good or bad. Dirty or unthoroughly cleaned equipment can be really bad when trying to film or take photos as it can really make a difference.

  2. Never allow food or drinks near any equipment as it can really defect it and in even some cases never work properly again. Also, when doing work, the area needs to be really clear anyways to make quality work.

  3. Always handle equipment with care. When handling equipment always handle it with care because a lot of cyber equipment is really fragile and will break easily. It also is quite expensive. The last thing you want to happen is for you to be in the middle of making a project and you pick up the camera the wrong way and the camera falls and breaks on the ground. Then you have to go to the trouble of buying another camera.

  4. Make sure work space Is setup correctly. When working in your workspace you want to make sure that you have your area set up correctly. You don't want to have all of your cords crossing over your screen or keyboard or whenever you are trying to create a project. Keeping your area organized is very helpful when dealing with time-consuming projects because you know where everything is set up and its neat and you don't have to spend much time organizing or fixing your area.

  • Being a cyber technician is very fun, but it does take a little hard work and responsibility. When being a cyber technician you have to stay really organized but at the end of it all it’s really cool. You get to learn many neat things and construct really neat projects.
