Beat Level 95 on Candy Crush Saga
Candy Crush level 95 is both difficult to understand and difficult to clear. It is an ingredient level, with the ingredients being one hazelnut and one cherry. The candy flows through the level in a disjointed manner that makes it almost impossible to remove the ingredients without using special candy. You have 45 moves in which to do this.
Steps
- Understand the flow. The first thing you need to do is understand where the candy starts and how it reaches the bottom of the board. The orange arrows point the columns through which candy (and ingredients) fall down. After this, there are two possible exits, each through a teleportation line. The first is on the right of the board, marked by the pink arrow. The longer pink arrow shows where the ingredient must go through to end up in the area marked by the smaller pink arrow. This is the exit for this side of the board. The left side of the board is a mirror image of the right.
What this actually means is that there are only two columns through which the ingredient can reach the bottom of the board, but these are not in line with the columns through which the ingredient enters the board. - Learn how ingredients move. Once you understand the flow, you need to learn the two ways you can change an ingredients column. The first is by setting off a special candy that takes out a large amount of the candy at the bottom of the board, as this will create a cascade effect and your ingredient could potentially end up in the right column.
The second way is by manually moving the ingredient. This is done by creating combinations adjacent to the ingredient. In the screenshot below, swapping the hazelnut for the yellow candy results in the hazelnut moving one column over to the left. - Avoid letting the ingredient get stuck in dead zones. There are plenty of spots on this board where it is difficult to make combinations and manually move the ingredients into the right column. Avoid letting the ingredients into these areas by getting them into the correct column as soon as possible.
- Use special candy. Once the ingredient is in the smaller gameplay area beyond the teleportation line, you need to use special candy (wrapped candy + striped candy combinations are best) to remove the rows of candy under the ingredient. Unless you’re very lucky, you will need to use special candy at this point. The screenshot below shows how this works by using horizontally striped candy.
Tips
- This is one ingredient level where vertically striped candy are not the easiest way to remove an ingredient from the board. Don’t worry about focusing on making them.
