Block a Bidder from Your eBay Auction
It may sound crazy to block bidders from your eBay auctions, but sometimes it is necessary. Examples of when this may be appropriate are: when they make the transaction difficult, like asking for discounts or bargains every time an auction ends, or when someone fails to pay for a purchase after ignoring several warnings.
Steps
- Log into eBay and go to your “My eBay” page.
- Click on the "Account" tab.
- Click on "Site Preferences".
- Under "Selling Preferences", click "Buyer Requirements".
- Click "Edit".
- Click on “Buyer Requirements Exemption List”.
- Scroll down and click on “Add an eBay member to my Blocked Bidder/Buyer List”.
- Type in the eBay User ID of the bidder you wish to block from your auctions and click the “Submit” button. Make sure you type in the exact user id.
- To remove a bidder/buyer from your blocked list, just delete the User ID in the text box and click the "Submit" button.
Tips
- You can block up to 1000 users.
