Build a Pullup Bar
Pull ups are believed to be some of the best arm and back exercises, but you need a bar to do them. Here's a couple ways to make one.

Steps
Hanging a Bar from Ropes
- Take two lengths of rope and hang them about two or three feet apart from a tree branch, beam, doorway etc. Be sure that the ends are no higher than six feet above the ground.
- Tie a 1" piece of galvanized pipe to the rope, with one end on each rope.
- Shebang! Now you're ready to do pullups!
Installing a Bar in the Ground
- Dig 2 3' deep holes.
- Get a piece of 1"/3-4' pre-threaded pipe and use 90 degree elbows to attach it to two 2"/7' pipes.
- Put the bar in the holes and fill with concrete or cement.
- Let dry for a couple days, and you're done!
- You are done! Congratulations! Now you can start building those biceps..
Tips
- The second bar is way better, but costs more and takes longer to make. It's probably worth it though.
- The first method is great for working your small stabilization muscles, getting more dynamic exercises and it's cheaper and easier to construct.
Warnings
- Don't drop the bar on you when you're putting the hanging one up.
- Make sure to not hurt any muscles and stretch before your workout.
