Steps

  1. Determine what kind of person your mom is. There are tons of "mom" categories.
    • There are so many different things that fit each person's interests. You could be a GO GREEN type person and also be a huge glamour girl. You'd want to get her something that fits one of her interests. Either one interest or both.
  2. GO GREEN! (For the environmentalist): Environmental, friendly eco style bath products and poofs, enviro-shopping bag, donate money to an eco-supporting charity for her as a gift, recycled jewelry or tableware.
  3. For the PET LOVER: Get A pet such as a dog, cat, bird, even fish, blown up picture of her pet on a blanket, send money to a dog rescue for her, dog or cat figurine, dog picture sweater, necklace with diamond and animal face.
  4. Satisfy her inner GLAMOUR GIRL: Make-up, new hair dryer, special curlers, straightening iron, bath products, a visit to the salon (you paying), spa day, a beauty book, a trip to the mall...your treat!
  5. LOVE TO BE PAMPERED: A new cozy bathrobe, bath pillow, shower radio, pampering set...nail polish, Ped-Egg, ETC.
  6. For THE COOK: Find some new plates and spoons, fine china, coffee mugs, large recipe book, cooking utensils, cooking hat, a trip to a fancy restaurant, ETC.
  7. STUCK IN THE PAST: Bring back the good-ol'-days with her favorite band from the 60's, a trip to a 50's club, a record player, an old-time apron, an old Cadillac!
  8. For your cerebral mom, THE BOOKWORM: Get a book you'd know she'd like, a beautiful book-mark, stationary, calligraphy pen, ETC.
  9. THE ROMANTIC: Find a great romance movie, a trip to a new romance movie, a romance novel, a heart patterned pajama set, heart stationary, a date for her and your dad.
  10. THE WILD WOMAN: An old motorcycle, a trip to the club, special wine, a trip to the mall all expenses paid, a gift card, a new leather jacket, ETC.
  11. LOVE OF ALL THINGS BEAUTIFUL: Beautiful crystal figurines, necklaces, rings, makeup, colorful things...etc.
  12. THE NATURE LOVER: A pair of binoculars, a birdhouse, a nature book, ETC.

Tips

  • Try to stay in a good price range....mix up the gifts...like, not just a big one, but many small ones plus a big one.
  • Look for something that suits her!
  • A trip to the spa is always nice.
  • Try a special outing or gift card if you have no ideas.
