RV parks or recreational vehicle parks are campground for RV or recreational vehicles. A recreational vehicle is a vehicle which comes with a bedroom, a kitchen, and a bathroom. These vehicles allow one to plan long road trips provided there are enough RV parks on the way. Even in places that have plenty of RV parks one must choose the right RV park to stay before starting their road trip. That is unless people have time and money to spend on the road searching for the right RV park.

- Make a list of things you expect from the park. Some may be happy with the basic things that a place to park their RV along with provisions for water and electricity, while others may want extra amenities including a swimming pool and provisions for recreational activities. Make sure that your demands are reasonable or you may not find a suitable RV park.
- Search for information about RV parks in the place you are planning to stay or vacation in. This search can be through friend, relatives, newspapers, and of course the internet. In case you are planning of vacationing in a place you should make sure that the tourist attractions are within a reasonable distance from the RV park.
- Scrutinize the information you have gathered. In case they are many RV parks in that place that meet your demands, you should start eliminating the ones that least meet your demands till you have around five at the most.
- Call the RV parks you have short-listed and check if they have any new offers or facilities that they have recently introduced. In case they have you should take them into consideration while making your decision. You should also inquire about availability of spots in their parks during the particular period of stay. Once you have got the required information, you should further cut down your list till you have two at the most.
