Clean a Cartilage Piercing

The following steps will tell you how to clean your piercing

Steps

Mix hot water with sea salt. Mix 1/4 teaspoon of seat salt in 8 ounces of water. More salt will irritate the piercing.
Get a cotton bud and dip it in the water
Wipe it over your piercing.
Do this 2 times a day. Doing this more often can also irritate the piercing.

Do not sleep on cartilage piercing, this will make it very sore and irritate it.
Do not re-use cotton buds
Do not clean your piercing using a sea salt soak more than twice a day. Otherwise, this over-cleaning will irritate the piercing.
Go to a professional piercer if you need advice
Do not use table salt
Adding more than 1/4 teaspoons of sea salt can irritate your piercing
Try not to touch the piercing often!
