Create Album Art

Many people want to create album art to put on Wikipedia but there are some tricks. Here is how you do it.

Steps

1. Get a photo. Google is a great source for pictures.
2. Open up Microsoft Paint. This is a great place to add text, backgrounds etc.
3. Click a color to use. This will be your background (see tips).
4. Shade in as close as you can to the person or band with the thickest brush setting. Be careful!!!
5. Use a smaller brush to get closer to the skin.
6. Add text. Click the text button on the side of the screen. On your program it should look like this:
7. Save it.
8. Log on to wikipedia
9. Type the name of the image on the article you want.
10. Create and account and upload the image.
11. Get it to the size you want and you're ready to go!

Tips

• If you don't like it recreate it!EX:
• You don't have to make a background. Just look at my album art!
• Use Google to find images. It is a great source!

Warnings

• When you upload it use a copyright info somewhat like this: An image I made as an album art for this song. The source URL for the original image is:(type in URL)I own part of this image and have the copyright holder's permission to upload this image. or else they will delete it!
• Don't take credit for work that you didn't do. That is - plagiarizing!
