Create a Whirlpool in a Swimming Pool

Steps
- Gather up 3 or 4 friends (the more the merrier!).
- Space everyone around the edges of the pool.
- Have everyone swim (walk if shallow) around the pool as fast as they can.
- Have fun! After doing several laps around the pool, stop and try to swim the other way, nearly impossible if done right with enough people.
Tips
- This is a good leg strengthening exercise for water polo.
- The more laps and friends the better.
- Better if you use round pools instead of square ones.
- For a stronger current, swim faster and longer.
- Gripping the edges of the pool will help you go faster.
- Remember to work together!
- Stay evenly spaced out. It'll work better to have three people even spaced around the pool's edge, then two times the people all clumped together.
- Smaller pools work better. If you have permission, use a baby pool- just make sure no one's in it!
Warnings
- Don't crash into each other!
- Don't drown! Real whirlpools can suck you under, so be careful!
