Want to draw a modern-era soldier? Follow these quick, easy steps to have a soldier sharply saluting on your paper in no time! Here’s how to draw a soldier.
Steps
- Draw one oval for the head and two long lines coming down from the oval.
- Draw one rectangle a little below the oval and going halfway down the lines. This will be your body.
- Draw two ovals at the top of the rectangle body. These ovals will be the outlines for drawing your arms.
- Draw two rectangles around the two long lines. These will be the legs.
- On the left oval, add another oval leaning towards the right. This will be the saluting arm. Add another oval on the right oval arm. Finally, draw two ovals at the bottom of the legs. These will be the soldier's feet.
- Draw one oval on his head to mark the face and add a rough figure of a rifle to mark the rifle in his hands.
- Add the facial features and improve the body lines. Don't forget the pattern on his uniform!
- Once you have the body structure and the facial features, erase the unnecessary lines.
- Use mostly green nuances for this drawing.
