Fold a Napkin Into the Basic Silverware Pouch

The basic silverware pouch is a very simple napkin fold suitable for any informal occasion. This folded napkin can hold cutlery or chopsticks, creating a neat and finished look on your set table.

Steps

1. Fold the napkin into fourths. You can do this by folding the napkin in half, and then folding it in half again.
2. Take the first layer on top of the napkin, and fold it diagonally.
3. Flip the napkin over.
4. Fold the right side of the napkin almost halfway to the center. Then, press it down flat.
5. Repeat the previous step for the other side.
6. Flip the napkin over. You'll now see a neat fold in place. Insert your silverware/chopsticks and you're all set.

Tips

• Don't use a wrinkled napkin.
• Be gentle while folding.
