- Hold t-shirt by the shoulders so that it is facing you. Pinch it between your thumb and forefinger.
- Fold back sleeves so with the three excess fingers.
- Place face down on a flat surface. You can also balance the t-shirt on your knee. Make sure that the sides of the t-shirt have folded in about an inch.
- Grab the collar and fold back so that it is touching the hem.
- Enjoy your folded t-shirt.
Method Two: More Complicated Fold
- Hold the t-shirt by the collar with one hand on each shoulder with the front of the t-shirt facing you.
- Use your thumbs to grasp each side of the collar.
- Use your thumbs for a means of measuring. You want an inch of fabric from each side of the collar to mark where you will fold.
- Once you have found your boundary mark, use your three excess fingers to fold the sides of the t-shirt, including the sleeves, back and out of the way. You should be left with a long rectangular shape.
- Take the bottom of the t-shirt and make a {{safesubst:#invoke:convert|convert}} fold towards the top.
- Fold the rest of the t-shirt, with 3 in folded portion, in half upward. The first fold should touch the collar.
- Turn it over and you're done.
Method Three: Side Fold
- Hold the t-shirt facing you and fold in half, longways. The sleeves should line up.
- Fold the sleeves back towards the collar of the t-shirt.
- Fold the hem of the t-shirt to the bottom of the sleeves.
- From there fold the top portion of the t-shirt, collar and folded sleeves, down onto the folded hem.
- Put the shirt away.
