Launch a Rubber Band
Here are a couple ways to launch a rubber band on those lazy afternoons in the office or at the homework desk when you really cannot think of something more productive to do.

Steps
Using Your Pointer Finger
- Place the rubber band around your left (or right) pointer finger.
- With the thumb and pointer of your other hand, stretch the rubber band, pulling one side tighter than the other.
- Release the rubber band, following through with your left (or right) hand.
Using Your Ring Finger
- Place the rubber band around your ring(fourth) finger.
- Pull ring finger toward palm of hand.
- While still holding onto the rubber band with ring finger, stretch rubber band up and around thumb.
- Stretch rubber band to the point of your pointer finger.
- Let go with ring finger.
Using a Pen
- Place the rubber band on the end of a pen.
- Pull back perpendicular to the pen and release!
Using the Corner of a Book
- Place the rubber band on the corner of a book.
- Aim down the spine of the book
- Pull back and release
- Try not to hit too many people.
Using Your Index and Middle Fingers
- Stretch the rubber band from your thumb to your index or middle finger
- Pull the whole band back - don't just pull one side
- When you place your thumb and finger on the target, let go
- Be careful, this can sting the victim.
Using Your Little Finger
- Loop the band over your little finger (pinkie) and close your little finger to your hand, so the band is trapped
- Stretch the rubber band over the back of your thumb and hook it over your index (pointer) finger.
- To fire, just open your little finger
Using Your Thumb
- Put a the band around the middle of your thumb
- Grab the elastic and stretch the elastic and make a hook with your second hand. Aim at your target.
- Release the hook to shoot
Warnings
- Rubber bands can hurt sensitive body parts.
