Lose Weight Using Wii Fit
Wii Fit is an excellent way to burn calories and lose weight while having fun, you just have to move your body and start playing.
Steps
- Choose a workout that you are most comfortable with.
- Complete the tutorial, it will help you when you start the actual workout.
- Start your game.
- Do all of the movements using all of your body, even though it is a video game, you are trying to burn as many calories as possible.
- Exercise for extended periods of time, until you break a sweat. At this point you know you're burning calories.
- Try giving the workout your all, just as if you were in a work-out gym. This will get you heart beating and you will not only be working out your body, but your heart will get a good work out too.
- Start to wind down as soon as you start to feel tired. Exercise in a less vigorous manner and slowly end your work-out.
- Walk in place for about a minute before turning the game off. This will help your body and heart get back to it's usual pace.
Tips
- Always eat a snack about 1/2 hour before work out.
- Use comfortable clothing when working out, i.e. gym shoes, loose clothing, breathable material.
- Stick to a plan, try 3 days a week at first and increase your workout as you feel comfortable.
- If you have asthma, it may be a good idea keeping your inhaler close by.

- If feeling faint or dizzy, stop playing right away. and contact your local health provider.
- Always wear the wrist strap if using a Wii remote.
- Play in a spacious area.
- If you have never played Wii Fit before, read the instruction booklet before playing.
- Always consult a physician before beginning an exercise or diet regimen.
- If you have asthma, and you start breathing heavily and wheezing, stop playing immediately.
