Make Fish Bait Using Bread

Ever wanted to fish when you don't have any worms around and you don't want to use lures? Well that's usually when you try to find other bait. So why not try using wet bread? It's easy and quick to make so that way you can be the first one to your favorite fishing spot and start fishing!

Steps

  1. Take at least 2 slices of bread.
  2. Turn on the water in your sink.
  3. Put a slice of bread under the water and start rolling the slice of bread into a ball.
  4. Repeat step 3 for all the slices of bread you want for fishing bait.
  5. Go to your fishing spot with the balls of bread inside a plastic bag and your fishing gear.
  6. Break off a piece of bread that is not much bigger than a large fly.
  7. Put that little piece of bread on your hook and start fishing!

Tips

  • Don't waste bread! Only try about 2 slices of bread the first time to see if your fish like the bread.
  • Bigger pieces of bread don't always mean bigger fish so don't make your pieces too large.

Warnings

  • You may lose some pieces of bread because your hook will scrape the floor of the body of water you're at.
  • Don't swing your fishing rod around like a light saber.
