Steps
Fresh neem leaves paste
- Collect fresh neem leaves.
- Soak the neem leaves in mildly hot water until they soften.
- Place the neem leaves into a mortar and pestle and grind the leaves into a paste.
- Use the paste by applying it to the skin area you're wishing to improve, soften or cleanse. Leave it there for 20 minutes or until it has nearly dried.
- Rinse off with fresh, cold water and dab the skin dry or leave to air dry.
- Your skin should look and feel refreshed. Repeat as often as wished.
Neem-turmeric paste
- Add some turmeric powder to freshly made neem paste in a bowl. Add water, gram flour and milk to it.
- Mix the ingredients together gently.
- Apply all over the face. Leave for 15 minutes; this gives it plenty of time to do its job.
- Gently wash away with water.
- Wipe dry with a cotton cloth. You will be left with soft, smooth and bright skin.
Tips
- Neem paste with turmeric is excellent for the skin, especially if you are suffering with acne.
- Neem paste can also be combined with other items targeted at bringing about specific skin benefits, such as herbs or fruits. Just be sure to know the properties and side effects of anything you add to the neem paste.

- If you have not applied neem paste to your face before, do a skin patch test to be sure you're not allergic to it or that you don't have any other negative reactions.
