Make Lemon Ice Tea
Want a nice cool drink while you read or relax for the day? Here is a recipe that is good for you and serves one. Double or triple the recipe as needed.
Ingredients
- 3 slices of lemon
- 2 teabags (best to use Tetley)
- Small pot
- Hot water
- Cup (500-550 ml) in size
- Ice
Steps
- Take 300 ml of boiling water and put it in a pot.
- Turn on the heat to high.
- Add two tea bags to the boiling water.
- Let the teabags soak in the water for a minute or so.
- Take out the teabags and add sugar (it depends on how sweet you want it).
- Stir the sugar until it dissolves.
- Turn down the heat to medium and cover it with a lid.
- Grab a cup that is 500-550ml in size and fill the cup halfway with ice.
- Bring the water to a boil and add the lemon slices.
- Let it boil for 1 minute.
- Pour mixture into the ice filled cup.
