Make No Bake Mango Pie
A delicious, mouth-watering, fluffy dessert that doesn't require baking. Plus, it's egg-less!
Ingredients
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 8 oz. Cool Whip
- 8 oz. sugar
- 8 fl. oz. water
- 16 fl. oz mango pulp or 16 oz. mango chunks
- 2 pre-made pie crust
- 2 packets no flavor gelatin
Steps
- Puree the mango chunks, if no pulp is available.
- Pour the mango pulp in a mixing bowl.
- Add softened cream cheese and cool whip.
- Stir in sugar.
- Dissolve 2 packets of gelatin in 8 fl oz. tepid water.
- Add the dissolved gelatin water into the mixing bowl and gradually fold it in.
- Use a hand blender to make a smooth and consistent mixture.
- Pour the mixture in a pre-made pie crust.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
- Enjoy a light and fluffy no-hassle dessert!
- Finished.
Tips
- You can strain the mixture before pouring it in the pre-made crust to strain the little chunks of gelatin that didn't get properly mixed in the hand blender.
- The recipe above makes 2 pies
- The recipe can be made entirely with a non-fat version of cream cheese and cool whip and it will still be equally delicious!
- Sugar can be replaced with equal portion of Splenda.
- Do not keep the pie in the deep-freezer for setting. Once it becomes hard, it will lose its flavor and consistency.
- Can also use egg instead of gelatin, but you have to bake 35-40 minutes at 350 degrees.
Warnings
- It tastes delicious!!!!
