- Take a day off from your busy schedule to be with your better half. You can easily spare a day for the most important person in your life.
- Being together is what is important and so is the feeling of togetherness. This is the perfect day to tell each other how much you love each other. For this you can play an easy game. You'll have to have a couple of business cards - around 10 each. Both of you are supposed to write 5 good things and 5 bad things about each other. Please remember to be polite while criticizing.
- Include a simple activity in your celebration. Make a list of 10 things you would like to do and experience in the coming years.
- Plan to cook together, from chopping to laying the dinner table. Do everything together, this will give a feeling of special bonding. If you have a vintage wine kept in a drawer, this is the time to enjoy its delicacies.
- After the meal hand out a gift to your spouse. The gift need not be expensive, but thoughtful. A simple gift will do wonders.
- Do not forget to take some pictures and add it to your memorable Plan For a Golden (50th) Wedding Anniversary or journal to see it in the later years.
