Banana with coconut oil hair mask
It is recommended that you use this mask once a week for the best result.
- Mash one banana. Using food processor will produce a finer mash, which can be easier to use.
- Add 1 to 2 tablespoons of pure coconut oil.
- Apply the mixture in your hair. Wrap it to avoid mess.
- Rinse properly with shampoo and conditioner.
- Let it dry before you comb your hair.
Tips
- It works because bananas contain potassium which strengthens and fixes damage on your hair.
- Use this every week to get healthy, shiny hair.
- Make sure to brush or comb through when rinsing, and condition afterwards, as bits of dry banana in your hair is not a popular look.
- Wrap your hair in plastic wrap to avoid getting banana all over.
Warnings
- The banana bits can take a very long time to rinse out of your hair - it is recommended that you have a lot of spare time to rinse it out.
