Make a Blended Iced Cappuccino

An iced cappuccino is the ultimate dessert drink. No matter the weather, it's pleasure in a plastic cup. Buying one all the time isn't easy, or cheap, so this will teach you how to make a cheaper iced cappuccino at home. A homemade iced cappuccino also tastes better, because you can make it according to your own personal tastes. All you'll need is some espresso, milk, ice, and a blender!

Ingredients

  • 6 ice cubes
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 1/3 cup of sugar
  • 6 Tbsp of half and half cream
  • 1/2 cup of coffee (adjust to taste)
  • Toppings such as chocolate syrup or whipped cream (optional)

Steps

Using a Blender

  1. Brew a cup of coffee the way you like it. Let it cool.
  2. Add the coffee to a blender.
  3. Add 6 Make Strawberry Ice Cubes or equal amount of crushed ice.
  4. Add 2 cups of milk.
  5. Add 6 tbsp of half and half cream.
  6. Add half a cup of sugar.
  7. Blend it all up until the ice is finely crushed. (With the blender)
  8. Finished.

No blender

You can still "blend" the ingredients if you don't have a blender. It won't be as smooth but it'll still work well.

  1. Use the ingredients listed above. Mix them together in a long glass.
  2. Add crushed ice to the glass.
    • Ice cubes can be crushed by placing them inside a rolled up tea towel. Crush with a rolling pin or end of a strong jar.
  3. Serve.



Tips

  • Taste test the iced cappuccino every time you blend to get the perfect flavor.
  • It tastes good with whipped cream.
  • Add less sugar if the drink is too sweet.
  • Try putting some shaved pieces of semi-sweetened chocolate.
  • Maple syrup can be used for sweetener.
  • To make this an amazing after-workout drink, use sweetener instead of sugar, as well as adding whey protein powder before blending.
  • Also try adding toppings, such as cherries, whipped cream, etc.

Warnings

  • Don't fill the mixture to the top, because when you blend it all together, the Iced Cap will produce foam, which can create a nasty mess when removing the blender's lid.
  • Always wash your hands before and after making an iced cap, germs can enter the blender from your hands and you can get very sick.
