Make a Cement Mixer Shot
The manner in which the ingredients in this shot drink are mixed together causes a sensation resembling the action of a cement mixer in the mouth when drinking it down. But don't worry––it's a lot more pleasant than it sounds!
Contents
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 ounces (45ml) of Baileys Irish cream
- 1 1/2 ounces (45ml) lime juice
- 1 tsp (5 grams) of sugar, for the people that can't take the sourness
Steps
- Measure and pour both ingredients in separate shot glasses.
- Shoot the Baileys, but do not swallow. Hold it in your mouth.
- Shoot the lime juice. Hold this in your mouth.
- Swish or swirl the contents around until you can't take it anymore.
- Gulp down and enjoy. The flavors will be delicious.
Tips
- Lemon juice can be substituted instead of lime juice.
- This drink can also be layered into one shot glass; Baileys first then layer on the lime juice.
- Because of the acidity in the lime juice, it reacts to the Baileys and makes it "curdle". So when it's put together, it creates a "cement mixer" form and sticks to the teeth.
Things You'll Need
- 2 shot glasses; 1 if layering
