Make a Crunk Beat With Fl Studio 8

Want to make a crunk beat, but can't find the inspiration, sounds, kits, or plugins, and all you have is the basic starting FL Studio 8 stuff? Or you just want to make a crunk beat, but don't know HOW? Look no further, this article will be far more helpful than any YouTube video. Especially if you want the melody of your song to be a crunk whistle!

Steps

  1. Open Fl Studio and start a new project.
  2. Go up to channels->add one->3x Osc
  3. Open the information for the file, and turn the knobs, so they look like the knobs in the picture.
  4. Open the piano roll and place the notes as such in the next picture.
  5. Put in the Vintage Bass Drum and Vintage Snare Drum, and place notes as following.
  6. Put in the Vintage Closed HiHat, and put it into piano roll, and place notes as following.
  7. Open a new pattern (as you should have done between the whistle and the drums, but if not, it shouldn't be that big of a deal) and open the snare drum into the piano roll, and place the notes as following, and adjust the velocity as is in the picture (or close to it, doesn't need to be exact).
  8. Open the playlist editor, and I suggest putting the patterns together as the following picture suggests, but however you find fit works also.

Tips

  • If you have the demo version of FL Studio, don't buy it! The only downside to the demo is that you can't save to work on later, but you CAN EXPORT!
  • If you want to add extra FX, go back to vintage, put in VT_CY, and place it in a new pattern as you hear fit, then put in into the pattern as you want to.

Warnings

  • The non-demo of FL Studio is a scam, you don't need to pay $200.00, and you shouldn't, because the saving feature is almost completely useless. Unless you plan on making a beat you want to work on or use in the future.
