Make a Deck out of the Yu Gi Oh! 5D's Starter Deck

Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's is a card-deck based game that comes with a starter deck. Players can collect new cards and remove less useful cards to improve their play. This article describes a way to improve the starter deck. It might help a new player duel like the new Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's hero, or play like Yusei Fudo and use powerful Synchro monsters.

Steps

  1. Buy yourself a Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's starter deck. It's fairly easy to find, and costs about 10 dollars in the US, so you won't have to save majorly to get this deck rolling.
  2. Take out all of the not-so-playable "starter" cards.
    • Spiral Serpent
    • Renge, Gatekeeper Of Dark World
    • Atlantean Pikeman
    • Woodborg Inpachi
    • Monster Reincarnation
    • Miniaturize
    • Rush Recklessly
    • Axe Raider
    • Synchro Boost
    • Synchro Blast Wave
    • Synchronized Realm
  3. Improve your deck. Starter decks are really bad. Try to get the following cards into your deck.
    • more Junk Synchron
    • Quillbolt Hedgehog
    • Jet Synchron
    • Tuning
    • Synchron Explorer
    • Level Eater
  4. Doppelwarrior
    • Quickdraw Synchron
  5. Add in all of the staples that will make the deck playable:
    • Reinforcement of the Army
    • Foolish Burial
    • 3 Twin Twister (or Mystical Space Typhoon if you can't get it)
    • Torrential Tribute
    • Call of the Haunted
  6. Get more synchro monsters. Add generic ones you can summon. Good ones for a synchron deck are Formula Synchron and Accel Synchron.
  7. Customize your deck personally. Now that you've built the deck using these instructions, you should probably add your own adjustments to it. Once again, feel free to add and/or take out all the cards that you want, this is your deck. After you've stopped gazing upon all of your awesome Synchro monsters, it's time to test that bad boy against your friends! And these tips will help to get you started!

Tips

  • Remember, don't add all of the above cards into your deck, because then you will have too many cards in your deck to draw the right ones when you need to, so take some average ones out and put some good cards in or just put a few in to your old deck.
  • Keep it to 40 cards.

Warnings

  • While this deck is extremely fun to play, it will not win every duel. However, if played correctly, you may find that it will become one of your favorite decks.
