Make a Guy with Freckles and Red Hair Look Hot
Looking hot isn't about what physical attributes you do or don't have. It's about your attitude and the "je ne sais quoi" as the French would say that makes someone hot. Charisma, baby! Just hope your ginger has charisma.

Steps
- Start with your head. Not head of hair, babes... Your mental state. Decide if you are going to see your red hair and freckles as hot or not. If you own your assets and love them, others will too!
- Work your angle. Only 1-2% of people are born with red hair. You have the natural advantage of making a statement.
- Check out magazines and fashion articles with pictures of hairstyles and clothes. Pick looks you like and mimic them with your own touches. If you've never done it before, mimic the looks really closely until you get the hang of it. Then work into taking a look, using it as inspiration and make up your own version.
- As a fair skinned red head, certain colors may or may not look good on you. Be conscious of that. Ask sales people and hair stylists to weigh in on your ideas. Ask people whose job is to consider colors to help you build a palette of clothing colors that you can rely on to make you look your best.
- Make sure your haircut is always fresh and groomed as well as the rest of you. No nasal or ear hair! Keep eyebrows above your eyes and not your nose! Shave once in a while or groom your beard if you have one.
- Take care of that tender skin! Wear your high SPF sun block and forget about getting a tan. It's stupid to fight your natural fairness. Wrinkles, sun damage, skin cancer... Not attractive. Enjoy the beach and the sun, but keep yourself looking 10 years younger than your sunning counterparts.
- Colours to wear: Grey's & Greens. If you have blue eyes you can do blue. Earth-tones (warm) are best in my opinion, and purple is a great defuser.
- If you have some freckles that you despise you can get them zapped away with a laser. It does not hurt- it feels like you are holding a "sparkler", when it is all done, if you had a lot done it may feel like a slight sun-burn for 10 minutes. (use ice on it). You will have dark spots where you were zapped for a few days, depending on how deep the freckles were. Then it rises to the surface of your skin and flakes-off. The only bad news is that freckles can come back. Not in the exact same place, but it seems your body will try to balance-out the melanin. (so stay out of the direct sun light and use good sun-screen). A good laser Dr. in New Jersey and New York City is Dr. Chasin. https://www.reflectionscenter.com/treatments/q-switchedlasers-new-jersey/
- Know that some Great Men in History were redheads (yet American media has changed their hair colour as they feel they can't have a redhead hero). Thor, Erik the Red, William Wallace ('Braveheart'), Robyn Hood, Rob 'Roy' MacGregor, Lief Erikson, Galileo Galilei, Charles Darwin, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Antonio Vivaldi, Mark Twain, Vincent Van Gogh, James Joyce, ...also Redd Foxx, Malcolm X, Ginger Baker Woody Allen Ron Howard Chuck Norris Eric Idle John Waite Thomas Bailey (Thompson twins) Eric Stoltz Courtney Gaines Danny Elfman Scott Grimes (‘Critters’) Mick Hucknall (‘Simply Red’) Sinbad (David Adkins) David Caruso Dave Mustaine (of MegaDeth) Conan O’Brien Mark McGuire Josh Homme III (‘Queens of the stone age’) Trey Anastasio (Phish), Shaun White Glenn Hansard Damian Lewis Prince Harry Tim Minchin Steve Hofstetter Saul “Canelo” Alvarez... the list goes on.
- Red marks and such usually show-up more on a redheads face - using a little bit of make-up can really help. If you get red marks on the immediate sides of your nose, a little foundation make-up or your skin tone powder will even it out.
- Be confident in who you are. The confidence goes a long way - even if/when others act like they do not see it. If you know you are correct or at least not doing anything bad, carry that bravado upon you. It 'is' difficult being a red haired male, especially in the u.s. where the media programs everyone to think that you are gay/the bully/the weakest one/the annoying psycho/or 2nd fiddle to the dark haired hero. - Many Men find a shorter hair cut (very short) is best for them-red-selves, but to have long red hair is something very cool. Think Vikings, Scotland, Ireland, Scandinavia, ... and I never liked him, but Axel Rose looked good with the straight long red hair in a pony tail. See also the tv show, "Outlander".
- Stay in great shape. Dress well. Wear fantastic socks.
