Make a Lemon Face Cleanser
Ever clean your face and still have roughness? Lemon is a citrus fruit which contains anti-bacterial properties. Lemon is splendid for acne when used correctly. The following tips will help cleanse and soften your skin.
Steps
Type 1
- Squeeze a fresh lemon into a bowl. Add 1 tablespoon of plain, organic yogurt and 1 teaspoon of honey as a moisturizer. Lemon juice should not be applied directly to skin because its acidic properties dry the skin. Like lemons, honey and yogurt are anti-bacterial, but they also moisturize skin.
- Combine all the ingredients.
- Moisten a towel with hot water.
- Place a warm towel on your face. This will open your pores.
- Apply lemon mixture to cheeks and forehead.
- Keep this mixture on your face for 1 minute.
- Clean face with cold water to close up pores
- Apply facial cream to your face to moisturize it.
Type 2
- Put a teaspoon of sugar into a bowl.
- Combine it with 1 teaspoon of lemon juice.
- Mix both of them up well.
- Gently scrub into your T-Zone (Forehead, nose and chin). You can even apply on lips.
- Rinse it off with lukewarm water.
- Finished.
Tips
- Use a towel to pat dry; don't rub your face.

- Be careful not to get mixture in eyes.
Warning
- Lemon is too acidic to apply directly to skin. It will burn the skin and worsen acne.
