Make a Meat Dry Rub for BBQ
This is an old family dry rub recipe that goes great on its own, or you can add sauce for a more layered flavor palate on your BBQ'd meat.

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1/4 cup paprika
- 1 Tbsp black pepper
- 1 Tbsp salt
- 1 Tbsp cumin
- 1 Tbsp chili powder
- 1 Tbsp garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp onion powder
- 1 tsp cayenne
Steps
- In a large mixing bowl, add your sugars and other dry ingredients.
- Mix the ingredients well till all of them are incorporated properly.
- Make sure the meat you are using is patted dry and pour the rub on the meat generously.
- Rub the seasoning into the meat so that it covers and coats the meat well.
- Cook the meat the way you wish by either pan fry, BBQ, broiling, etc.
- Finished.
Tips
- Once the meat has cooked most of the way you can Make-a-Ketchup-and-Molasses-Based-Bar-B-Que-Sauce to it if you'd like or just eat it with the rub.
