Make a Simple Indian Mehndi Design
Mehndi is a body art that is used on several occasions. However, it might be difficult to stick to heavy and intricate designs all the time. Given the type of the event, personal choice and last but not the least, time constraints. There might be people looking for a simple design with a touch of ethnicity. This is how you can do one.
Steps
- Start by putting a dot in the centre of your palm.
- Make two concentric circle around the dot.
- Make spirals in between the two circles.
- Make equal loops around the spirals.
- Make two twists as shown.
- Make a complete boundary as shown.
- Put stems as shown.
- Move to the finger and make two lines.
- Start making a flower as shown.
- Make two dots on top of the flower, followed by a stem.
- Make a spiral at the other side of the line followed by a boundary.
- Make petals.
- Fill the rest of the space by spirals.
- Make similar design on the rest of the fingers.
- Make similar design on back side of hand
Tips
- Ensure you test a bit of the henna before applying it on your hands and feet to make sure you don't have an allergy reaction.
- Do not use black henna- it has very bad health complications.
- Be as creative as you want. It's all about the floral and let it shine.
