Peel a Boiled Potato
How to peel boiled potatoes. Especially useful if you are planning to make several buckets of mashed potatoes.
Steps
- Find the length of the potatoes and score around the potato across the length. To score, run the knife around the potato.
- Clean, then boil.
- Prepare an ice bath as soon as the potato cooks.
- Drop the potato in the ice bath and wait for several seconds.
- Grasp the potato from both ends and squeeze the ends until the skin pops off.

- Hot potato. Hot stove. Hot water.
- Careful with the knife.
