Prevent Cotton Shirts from Shrinking

So you just got a new shirt and without looking at the tag in the store, you see that the shirt is 100% cotton. Yeah we all do it and we dread the moment when we see that little percentage sign on the tag. Well this article is here to tell you how to keep your cotton shirts from shrinking so much.

Steps

1. First when washing your shirt, try to avoid heat and warm water in the washing machine. Once you've washed your shirt for the first time in warm water, it's probably too late. But you never know until you try!
2. Use a slow and delicate cycle when washing the shirt.
3. DO NOT PUT IT IN THE DRYER!
   • Drying your shirt will shrink it for sure. So instead of throwing it into the dryer for a quick dry, lay the shirt out flat, so it will dry on its own.
