Reattach a Plastic Cover to a Seatbelt Buckle

Sometimes seatbelts on vehicles such as a car have a plastic buckle which can fall off which can be annoying and hard to fix.

Steps

  1. Have the buckle and plastic cover ready.
  2. Find the indent in the plastic cover, this indent is to be placed on the side pointing towards the clip.
  3. Click it on.
  4. Sometimes the buckle might have a plastic insert that you can put in. If this is lost it does not matter.
  5. Clip the seatbelt buckle.

Tips

  • You can use glue to hold the cover on the buckle, but be careful not to glue moving parts together and ask the owner of the buckle first if it is not yours.

Warnings

  • Be careful not to snap the buckle.
