Retire from a Job You Love

A job is an occupation, sometimes being a full-time or part-time position. There are lots and lots of types of jobs such as fireman, chef, doctor, artist, musician and thousands of other jobs. In general, in all of the jobs you are obligated to be responsible and follow tasks. Because this was the job you choose and decided to take part because you loved this job. If you are willing to retire a job you love it must be because of a specific reason. Wether it is for your benefit or your families benefit. Or any other reason.

Steps

QUITTING YOUR JOB

  1. Think clearly the reason or reasons on why you are quiting this job.
  2. Try and think of any solution for this reasons. And if there are any solutions then use them and try to solve. Ex: Ask for a raise (letter, email or talking). If that didn´t work, then think of another one and keep trying. Remember you must show interest and that you are not giving up.
  3. If step number two didn´t work. Think about why you started this job. And how much you love it. And you will be willing to sacrifice ANYTHING because of this. Even your children's education. - Is this job worth it?
  4. Now think on why you are quiting this job. And all the positive things that might occur if you do quit your job. You never know what might happen to you later on. Maybe this job " you loved " wasn´t your dream job. And the world is offering other things. Try other jobs and see what happens. Maybe you even like it more. Or maybe you just iked the "idea" of this job but you didn´t really "love it".
  5. Talk to your boss and quit this job once in for all.
  6. Go and experience new things and other jobs. There are MILLIONS of jobs out there waiting for you. - Linked in- * This is a good way to find jobs. Ask friends or family if they can offer you a job or if they can help you to find one. - Start you own business.
  7. If you aren´t sure on what you want to do. You could do a test of "Career guidance and Orientation". - By this you can see you weaknesses (ex: Math, Writing and Reading). - You can also see what you like based on your answers to simple questions.
