Run a PC Game Without a Disc
How to run computer games without a disk. Using virtual drives you can make the program think a disk is present.
Steps
- Search for the Magic ISO website. Download the software and install it.
- Put the desired game in the disk tray and open up Magic ISO.
- Find the disk on the panel in Magic ISO and click rip to ISO, pointing to a folder to store the .ISO file in.
- In your system Tray find magic ISO and right click, find an empty "drive" and hit mount image.
- Point the program to the .ISO file you made before and the game will now find the "disk" mounted on a virtual drive.
Warnings
- This practice defeats the copy protection on games and may violate the EULA. Read the EULA and only do this if you own a legal copy of the game.
