Split and Store Your Bath Bombs
Got some bath bombs that made you empty half your wallet? Some people like to split their bath bombs in half so they can get multiple uses out of 1. This won't ruin your luxurious bath, and you'll be saving your money. This article will teach you how to neatly split your bath fizzy bombs in half and also how to store them.
Steps
- Procure a plastic storage container, plastic storage bags, flat-head screwdriver, a hammer or mallet, scissors and a cutting board. All you need is a plastic tub to store your bath bombs (it can be as big as you want, depending on how many bath bombs you have).
- Take your bath bomb and carefully place it in the bottom corner of a sandwich bag.
- Place the bath bomb on its side on your cutting board.
- See if you can find a seam in your bath bomb - an indented line where you can easily split it.
- Grab your flat-headed screwdriver and your hammer.
- Fit the tip of your screwdriver into the seam of the bath bomb. Make sure the bath bomb doesn't move around.
- Bang the top of your screwdriver with the hammer. Keep tapping it until the bath bomb evenly splits in half.
- Put each half of the bath bomb in a sandwich bag, tie a knot right above it and use the scissors to cut off the excess sandwich bag.
- Place your little wrapped up bath bomb half in your plastic tub.
- Repeat until all the bath bombs are split in two.
- Voila! You have successfully split all of your bath bombs evenly in half, so you can use one bath bomb twice. Keep the plastic tub in a drawer or maybe in your bathroom cupboard.
- Whenever you want to use a bath bomb half, simply open the tub, find whatever bath bomb half you want to use, snip off right below the knot in the plastic bag, and there you go. This method makes sure none of the crumbs slipping off your bath bomb don't go everywhere, and it doesn't let any heat or water get near your bath bombs, so your bath bombs will last a lot longer.
Tips
- Make sure your hands are dry when handling the bath bombs.
- Be careful you don't bang your fingers with the hammer.
- You can use a knife if you don't have a screwdriver. BE CAREFUL WITH IT!
- Keep the tub out of reach of pets and children.
- Do not get the bath bomb near your mouth or eyes.
