Stay Active at Work

Sometimes you feel tired or have no idea what to do at office even when you have loads of work to finish. Or, maybe you don't have enough work to keep you busy the whole day. Don't let your mind wander, try this.

Steps

  1. Work from the start of the day until quitting time. Have defined working hours and stick to them.
  2. Be self-disciplined. Don't let your mind wander to things which are not work-related. You may feel like sitting down to chat over phone or internet, but remind yourself you are working right now.
  3. Refrain from watching entertainment programs on TV or the Internet during working hours.
  4. Remind yourself that you are at office to work and make money for the company.
  5. Keep your targets clear and achievable. Set realistic targets and monitor your progress.
  6. Keep building your skill set and increasing your efficiency.
  7. Keep all papers, files and documents in check.
