Taking digital pictures can be a fun and rewarding hobby, but doesn't it get annoying when you take a close-up picture to find that it's blurry? Fret no more! Here are some easy steps to take to prevent blurriness in close-up shots, and to help you show off your photography skills.
Steps
- Look for the area on your camera where you can switch the setting/mode. There should be an icon with a flower, called close up. Set it to that.
- It should say that it is set on macro.
- Once it is on macro, go very close up to something like someone's eye or a flower.
- Hold the button halfway down until the picture is focused and not blurry.
- If it is still blurry you probably need to tweak the distance of the camera from the object.
- Take the photo once the focus is perfect.
Tips
- Too much motion can blur a picture also, so you may want to put the camera on a tripod. On some cameras, you can manually focus the lens so you get the focus you want.
Warnings
- If you are taking a close-up shot of someone's eye, make sure the flash is turned off to prevent eye damage.
