Take a Close Up Picture Without Blur

Taking digital pictures can be a fun and rewarding hobby, but doesn't it get annoying when you take a close-up picture to find that it's blurry? Fret no more! Here are some easy steps to take to prevent blurriness in close-up shots, and to help you show off your photography skills.

Steps

  1. Look for the area on your camera where you can switch the setting/mode. There should be an icon with a flower, called close up. Set it to that.
  2. It should say that it is set on macro.
  3. Once it is on macro, go very close up to something like someone's eye or a flower.
  4. Hold the button halfway down until the picture is focused and not blurry.
  5. If it is still blurry you probably need to tweak the distance of the camera from the object.
  6. Take the photo once the focus is perfect.

Tips

  • Too much motion can blur a picture also, so you may want to put the camera on a tripod. On some cameras, you can manually focus the lens so you get the focus you want.

Warnings

  • If you are taking a close-up shot of someone's eye, make sure the flash is turned off to prevent eye damage.
