Uninstall Python
Maybe you downloaded and installed a new version of python and you need to uninstall your previous version. This is just the tutorial for you.
Steps
Windows Repair and Remove
- Open the installation file of your previous version, it must be a .msi file.
- When the window opens, two options will be displayed: "Repair" and "Remove".
- Select "Remove" and click "Finish".
Windows Control Panel
- Go to the control panel.
- Click "Add or remove programs" in Windows XP and "Program & Features" in Vista and Windows 7/8.
- Select the Python version from the installed program list and click "Uninstall."
Warnings
- For the first way, the installation file of your previous version is needed, and it must be a .msi file.
To check this, go to Tools>Folder Options...>View Uncheck hide extension for known file types, click Apply, then Ok, now open the folder where your installation file is, it should now show the extension e.g Python-3.2.2.msi (Windows Installer Package).
