Use Straptrap to Stop Bra Straps from Slipping

Since women come in all different shapes and sizes, and the cut of a dress or design of a bra varies, bra straps often peep out. Straptrap is a new design bra strap retainer that is easy to use, neat and secure and accounts for the many different shapes and sizes of your average - and not so average - woman.

Steps

  1. Sew the straptrap into the shoulder seam of the garment and slot the bra strap through it. The bra strap and garment will be kept aligned. If the bra strap is double thickness at the shoulder you need only secure the upper layer.
  2. Remember when wearing a slip also, move the slip towards the neck and then secure the bra strap into straptrap.
  3. Because dresses vary, you can use straptrap where ever straps show this is particularly useful for costumes although you will probably need someone to helpĀ !

Tips

  • Victoria's Secret has a product called "sexy little things fashion tape" - it is basically double-sided tape. you can use them to tape your bra strap to your shoulder, keeping it hidden!
  • If you don't like to sew, there is a new product called "STRAP TAMERS Bra Strap Concealers" You simply pin them to the inside shoulder seam of your garment and slip your bra strap into the attached clip. They are easy, comfortable and invisible. Best of all they are laundry safe. Available at StrapTamers.com
  • You can also purchase bra clips at fabric stores. These pin on with safety pins so you have less work.
