Walk More Masculine
You've seen other men walk, but you just can't seem to walk masculinely yourself. That was a thing of the past, read on to change your walk from girly to manly.
Steps
- Find a Full Body Mirror, preferably in a private space.
- Stand at an almost 45 degree angle to the mirror, meaning almost sideways but not quite.
- Stand normally and look at your stance and posture.
- Then once again stand in a 45 degree angle
- Make sure your shoulders are back, your chest is up, but not too high. Not too low, either.
- Make sure your back is straight and your legs should be close to each other but not touching.
- Now when you walk, keep the same posture, but tense up a little. It should not be seen that you are tensed up.
- When you move your legs, try not to move your waist or shake your hips.
- Move your arms back and forth, but not too much and make sure they don't turn into spaghetti arms. Remember, Lightly tensed. Not too much, either.
- Keep practicing these basic steps, but remember that you're trying to improve. Don't keep going for the same thing each time unless you have it nailed - keep trying to improve while practicing.
- When you feel you have it down, add your own swagger to it. Make it you; acting like someone else will only make you seem like a poser, especially if you are acting really noticeable.
Tips
- Make sure when you tense, don't tense up to the point where you look nervous.
- Remember, practice makes perfect.
- Try to look relaxed and cool.
- Try rolling your shoulders back. This will make your chest protrude more.
- Make it look effortless.
- Search Male Models on the runway and imitate some ways they walk.
