Steps

  1. Hold the towel length-ways behind your back with adjacent corners in each hand.
  2. Wrap the towel around yourself with the right hand side overlapping the left, or vice versa.
  3. Use both hands to hold the overlapping corner against the overlapped edge.
  4. Roll down the top edge over the corner.
  5. Continue rolling the entire top edge all the way around your waist. Voila. It will now stay securely on your waist.

Tips

  • Roll the edge IN instead of out to hide your method.
  • For an expert demonstration, see Harrison Ford's shower scene in "Frantic" (1988)
  • Roll the edge over twice for an even tighter hold.
  • Fold the edge down for a more aesthetically pleasing look.

Warnings

  • Folding may not result in as good of a hold as rolling.
