Add Lighter Fluid to Your Zippo

This article will give you a step-by-step process on how to fill your Zippo lighter with fluid.

Steps

Open your Zippo. Flick the top to reveal the actual lighter.
Access the fuel reservoir. To do so, simply pull the lighter insert away from the base. (When this has been done successfully, the Zippo outer case should be separate from the lighter insert.)
On the bottom of the lighter insert, there is a felt pad. Lift the felt pad to reveal the fuel reservoir.
Using Zippo lighter fluid, open the top of the fluid can.
Invert the fluid can and fill the reservoir until the fluid reaches the top of the packing.
Close the fluid can, then replace the felt pad.
With felt pad in place, put the lighter insert back into the case.
You have just filled your Zippo!
