It is always nice to know that what you have purchased has a lifetime replacement guarantee. But sometimes you just don't know how to use this..........

Steps

  1. Zippo lighters are guaranteed for life. Simply send it to them and it will be repaired for free and they will send it back to you in 3-4 weeks.

Tips

  • You should always use a shipping service that allows you to track your shipment and provides a proof of delivery (such as a signature).

Warnings

  • From time to time, Zippo Mfg. will find a lighter to be so worn or damaged that, rather than attempt a repair, they will replace it with a new similar model. If your old Zippo has sentimental value and you do not want it replaced do advise them in writing with the shipment of your damaged Zippo lighter.
  • Make sure that all of the fuel has evaporated from your Zippo before shipping it off for repairs!
