- Zippo lighters are guaranteed for life. Simply send it to them and it will be repaired for free and they will send it back to you in 3-4 weeks.

Tips
- You should always use a shipping service that allows you to track your shipment and provides a proof of delivery (such as a signature).
Warnings
- From time to time, Zippo Mfg. will find a lighter to be so worn or damaged that, rather than attempt a repair, they will replace it with a new similar model. If your old Zippo has sentimental value and you do not want it replaced do advise them in writing with the shipment of your damaged Zippo lighter.
- Make sure that all of the fuel has evaporated from your Zippo before shipping it off for repairs!
