Back Up Email Files in Mozilla Thunderbird
Backing up your emails in Mozilla Thunderbird is easier than you think. Within a few simple steps, you can back up your emails.
Steps
- Make sure your client is not running.
- Go to the "Run" menu. This can be accessible by pressing the start key, and "R" at the same time.
- In the "Run" screen, type in "%appdata%", (without the quotes), and click "OK".
- Once in your AppData folder, locate the sub-folder called "Thunderbird" and open it. There should be a few different files in there, and among them should be a folder named "Profiles".
- Right click on the "Profiles" folder, and copy and paste it to a safe location.
- Congratulations, you have successfully backed up your emails in Thunderbird.
