Be Good at Hand to Hand Combat

Getting beat up at school or you just want to know hand to hand combat? Well you came to the right article. A lot of kids have challenged me to a fight and they said "I am a black belt in karate!" And, later in the fight, I won! So trust this article and you'll be the best fighter in town!

Steps

  1. Fighting is all about focus, knowing what your opponent is going to do as soon or before he does. Plan quickly, and if you are able to throw something in their face to startle and buy you time to deliver some elbow and knee strikes to sensitive areas.
  2. Learn some kind of martial arts. Muay Thai, Kyokushin Karate and Wing Chun are known to be effective in hand to hand combat.
  3. Grappling arts such as: Wrestling, Judo and Sumo are good for taking opponents to the ground and immobilizing them.
  4. YouTube. Go to YouTube and try to find some tricks to fighting.
  5. Make up stuff. Create your own fighting moves. Like one guy made the scissors.. You take your legs and scissor the other persons leg with your legs.
  6. Practice. Practice makes perfect.. But really "Perfect practice makes perfect!"
  7. If you happen to be somebody who isn't in their best shape, and you end up on the wrong side of a big scary guy's fist, don't consider yourself helpless. There are moves that can be used that take very little time to master, and you don't have to pay for them. Karate is something that you do not need to know in order to beat somebody who is twice the size of you. In fact, Karate is practically pointless in a high-stress situation unless you've spent more than a years worth of your time and money. So instead of using a bunch of complicated blocks and punches, that take a lot of time to master, just focus on your more natural motor movements. Things that you can do without thinking much about it. Things like pushing, walking and simple punches.
  8. Aim for the head. Everything you throw at the guy, aim for the head. Whether it would be a punch or a push. Either one will work more effectively when applying them to his head. If you want to get him on the ground so you can make a run for it, just give a good hard push, with both your hands, to his head. He will fall back. If he doesn't, then do it again. If he doesn't fall back at all, then do it again, this time giving him a good knee to the groin.
  9. Anyway, the point is that you don't have to be a master in martial arts to know how to defend yourself, you just need to hone some of the most simple motor movements of your body.

Warnings

  • Never copy movies. They are staged and completely unrealistic , therefore will get you in trouble.
  • Only use what you know to protect yourself and others. This may require injuring another person but this is a last resort.
  • Never try flashy moves. They are too risky and one small mistake can end the fight quickly.
  • Don't attack people.
  • Never fight multiple opponents. Run if you can.
