How to be a Stripper who knows what it is doing is very important.   9. Always make sure you look after yourself on the way home. Many girls have had customers following them to find out where they live. Be careful about the taxi you take or who you get a ride with. always carry a phone with you and keep a personal alarm.

Talk to a financial advisor and have money be taken out of your account like a bill. And on good nights just add more money to that account. If you don't try to save you will end up broke.
  • Keep a cushion of at least 6 months of money for bills in case you get hurt, sick, or pregnant. Strip clubs don't offer workers comp if you get hurt or any benefits for that matter. You're an independent contractor.

  • Be careful with yourself. Remember, you are the most valuable asset, so do not get into compromising positions. Protect and look after yourself, everything else comes second. In this job, you may meet some shady characters which may lure you into situations that are not safe. Just be wary and respect yourself and you will be great.
  • Never go anywhere from the club with a customer. The club may fire you and you do not know what the customer is really like.
  • Never get involved in drugs or anything illegal at the club. It may be exposed by certain customers in the club, just stay away and let management know.
  • Do not start working in a strip club when you have only a few hundred dollars left. You can lose that in a few nights. As most clubs charge girls to work there, a lot of girls can leave the club in debt. Make sure you have a reliable job as well when you start or some form of income as you may need it when you start.
  • Organise your transport before you go to work, so that you have someone who is known to you and safe. Do not just jump into any taxi you see outside, as you do not know if they are licensed.

Things You'll Need

  • You will need the usual shoes which are usually at least 3" high
  • At least 2 sets of clothes, they do not have to be expensive and you can get some great ones at eBay.
  • A licence in most states for working in a club. Contact the club you are thinking of working in to see what the process is
  • What type of underwear is legal in the club. In some states they specify the type of underwear you will need to wear.
  • Some way of keeping your money. Some clubs allow you to carry a purse, others may not, so you may need a garter and a strong rubber band.
